- FHLBank Atlanta 2023 Election of Directors; Candidates Sought for Two Independent Directorships
June 8, 2023Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta (Bank) has begun the election to fill certain directorships on the Bank’s board of directors, including a member directorship in South Carolina, and two independent directorships. The term of the directorships to be filled in this election begins on January 1, 2024 and ends on December 31, 2027.
- Agencies Propose Interagency Guidance on Reconsiderations of Value for Residential Real Estate Valuations
June 8, 2023Five federal regulatory agencies today requested public comment on proposed guidance addressing reconsiderations of value (ROV) for residential real estate transactions. The proposed guidance advises on policies that financial institutions may implement to allow consumers to provide financial institutions with information that may not have been considered during an appraisal or if deficiencies are identified in the original appraisal.

- Langley for Families Foundation Raises $535K at 9th Annual Charity Golf Classic
June 7, 2023The Langley for Families Foundation raised over $535,000 in gross profits at its 9th Annual Charity Golf Classic in Williamsburg on May 16. Net proceeds from the event will be granted to Hampton Roads nonprofits in the areas of healthcare, housing and human services, and access to education.
