CUNA GAC 2023

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Aug. 23, 2022

CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference (GAC), the credit union industry’s premier advocacy event, returns to Washington, D.C., Feb. 26 to March 2, 2023.

Each year thousands of leaders from across the country come together to rally around a united cause — to show legislators how their policies impact credit unions and their more than 130 million members.

“Virginia's credit unions are committed to ensuring all the Commonwealth's residents have access to affordable financial products and services through member-owned, not-for-profit credit unions,” said Virginia Credit Union League President/CEO Carrie Hunt. “CUNA's Governmental Affairs Conference allows us to deliver this message directly to policymakers. It’s an immeasurably important tool in our advocacy toolbox.”

The conference will also feature a wide range of informational breakout sessions, training, and resources designed to help credit unions advance their communities and improve financial well-being for all. An online experience is available to those who cannot make it to Washington.
