Tidewater Chapter Hosting Annual Meeting on Feb. 9
Mike Burke, Senior Robbery and Crisis Management Consultant from Shazam, will be the featured guest speaker at the Tidewater Chapter’s Feb. 9 Annual Meeting.
The Chapter will also elect its Governing Board for 2023-2025.
Mike’s program will discuss how the Pandemic initiated the perfect storm for fraudsters and detail how criminal activity affecting financial institutions has flourished. These activities range from counterfeit currency and check fraud to elder fraud, student fraud and crimes targeting ATMs. Mike will identify trending criminal activities and considerations to help your staff and members become storm spotters.
Location: Greenbrier Country Club (1301 Volvo Parkway, Chesapeake 23320)
Time: 6 p.m. social; 6:30 p.m. dinner and meeting.
Cost: Dinner is $45 per person. Note: Credit unions with less than $10 million in assets may send one representative at no cost. You must register, however.
