Scam Seeking to Sell Insurance to CUs In the Name of Tidewater Chapter

Credit unions in Tidewater and Hampton Roads: We have a report of two individuals recently approaching a credit union and seeking to sell insurance to the credit union/members in the name of the Tidewater Chapter. 

The pair produced letters dated from 2014 on Tidewater Chapter letterhead and League/Credit Union House of Virginia letterhead.

Obviously, this is an attempt to scam credit unions, but we wanted you to be aware of this. Drop an email to us at pr@vacul.org if you are approached.
