Register Now for Call Report, CAMELS Webinars on March 8, 10

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (March 8, 2022) — This week, the NCUA is hosting two informative webinars on changes to the NCUA’s Call Report and CAMELS rating system.

March 8 Webinar on Call Report Changes

The NCUA will host a second webinar on its recent Call Report Changes today, March 8, beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern. Staff from the NCUA’s Office of Examination and Insurance will cover Call Report changes for consumer credit unions effective with the March 2022 reporting cycle, including new schedules for risk-based capital and the Complex Credit Union Leverage Ratio (CCULR), which became effective on Jan. 1.

The webinar is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern and will run for approximately 90 minutes. Participants can submit questions anytime during the presentation or in advance by emailing FAQ@ncua.gov. The email’s subject line should read, “Call Report Changes.” For additional information about the NCUA’s 5300 Call Report form, visit the CUOnline and 5300 Call Report FAQs webpages.

March 10 Webinar on the new CAMELS Rating System

Credit unions can get information on changes to the NCUA’s CAMELS rating system on March 10, beginning at 2 p.m. Eastern. Staff from the NCUA’s Office of Examination and Insurance will cover updates to the NCUA’s supervisory rating system that is transitioning from CAMEL to CAMELS, effective April 1. The webinar will focus on the addition of a sixth component, “S” (Sensitivity to Market Risk), and redefining of the “L” (Liquidity Risk) component.

The webinar is scheduled to run for approximately 60 minutes. Participants can submit questions anytime during the presentation or in advance by emailing WebinarQuestions@ncua.gov. The email’s subject line should read, “CAMELS.”
