Member CUs Elect Three to League Board; Board Names Officers for the Coming Year

The Virginia Credit Union League announces the following election results for its Board of Directors. The election results were announced at the League's 89th Annual Meeting May 25 in Williamsburg, Va.

Member credit unions elected the following individuals to three-year terms on the Board:

• Jeff Bentley (CEO of Northwest Federal Credit Union, based in Herndon)
• Paul Muse (CEO of 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union, based in Newport News)
• Mike Warrell (CEO of ValleyStar Credit Union, based in Martinsville)

During the League Board's reorganization meeting, the following individuals were re-elected to the following officer positions by their fellow Board members:

• Joe Thomas was re-elected Chairman. He is the CEO of NextMark Credit Union, based in Fairfax
• Jeff Bentley was re-elected Vice-Chairman. He serves as CEO of Northwest Federal Credit Union, based in Herndon 
• Paul Muse was re-elected Treasurer. He is the CEO of 1st Advantage Federal Credit Union, based in Newport News
• Janine Williams was re-elected Secretary. She is the Senior Vice President of Marketing at UVA Community Credit Union, based in Charlottesville
