League's Partner Attorneys Assume New Leadership Roles for Virginia Bar Association
Two attorneys familiar to Virginia's credit unions have been elected to leadership positions with the Virginia Bar Association.
Victor O. Cardwell has been elected president of the organization. Cardwell is a Roanoke-based partner and board chairman of Woods Rogers PLC. He has served as a delegate in the American Bar Association, representing Virginia, and was appointed to Virginia’s Human Rights Council.
He's been a regular speaker for our webinars and employment law workshops, and he's presented at the League Annual Meeting on a number of occasions.
In addition, the VBA's Young Lawyers Division, a group of about 1,200 attorneys younger than 40, elected R. Patrick Bolling, a principal on Woods Rogers PLC’s labor and employment team, as chair-elect. Patrick has also been a featured presenter in a number of our employment law-related webinars.
Congrats to both!
