League's Blau Speaks at Everest Federal Credit Union Annual Meeting

This past Saturday, your League's JT Blau was invited to speak at the Annual Meeting for Everest Federal Credit Union. Although headquartered in New York, the credit union had its annual meeting in Northern Virginia owed to the large community of Nepali Americans who live there. Everest serves Nepali American communities.

JT spoke about the "Credit Union Difference," the value of credit unions' structure as member-owned financial cooperatives, and the safety and soundness of credit unions and the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund.
