League, CUs Meet with Congresswoman Elaine Luria

Member credit unions and your League held a virtual meeting today with credit union supporter, Rep. Elaine Luria, who remains locked in heated battle to hold on to her 2nd District seat.

Credit union representatives and League staff showcased the "Credit Union Difference," noting the many ways credit unions serve their members and provide for their financial well-being. That includes service to members of the military and their families; providing financial education and personal finance resources; operating student-run branches in schools; providing small-dollar loans and loans to those with lower credit scores; and supporting community events.

Joining the League on today's call were representatives from the following credit unions: ABNB Federal Credit Union, BayPort Credit Union, Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union and Navy Federal Credit Union.
