Yesterday, representatives from five credit unions and your League traveled to Staunton to meet with Rep. Ben Cline (R-6).

We discussed a long list of federal legislative priorities, including interchange, overdraft, third-party examination authority for the NCUA, and board modernization issues.

Special thanks to the credit unions that participated and offered the Congressman a first-hand account of how we “live” the Credit Union Difference every day in service to our members! We’re working to schedule meetings with all members of our Congressional delegation in the coming weeks during this critical time for credit unions on Capitol Hill.
