CUs Host Roanoke Valley, Lynchburg Lawmakers at Aug. 17 Reception

Sixty credit union supporters from across the Roanoke Valley and Lynchburg joined us in Roanoke Aug. 17 for a legislative reception that drew eight lawmakers. 

"Building relationships with lawmakers is a critical part of ensuring the success of our advocacy efforts," said CeJae Vtipilson, League Director of Grassroots Programs and Political Fundraising. "Events like this help us connect with lawmakers, share the Credit Union Difference and discuss the issues that matter to our members and the future of the credit union industry."
