Rob BrownMartinsville, Virginia (March 18, 2022) – ValleyStar Credit Union announces Rob Brown as its vice president of organizational development. In his new role, Rob will be responsible for learning and development and strategic workforce planning activities.

Rob joined ValleyStar in 2021 as director of training and has led initiatives to improve educational delivery, leadership development, and performance improvements in employee onboarding. He is a process-driven leader who believes in empowering employees to reach their potential.

“Rob’s ability to improve processes has been instrumental in the evolution of the ValleyStar culture,” said Mike Warrell, ValleyStar CEO. “Rob brings extensive experience in leadership and interpersonal skills that are essential to the future of ValleyStar and the level of service we provide.”

Prior to ValleyStar, Rob worked with other financial institutions in employee development and management. Rob is certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt, a certification for designing process improvement.
