Virginia Beach, VA, July 13, 2021: Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce that Spencer Glatt and Claire Lundberg are the recipients of this year’s Beach Municipal Federal Credit Union Education Scholarship. Spencer, a recent graduate of First Colonial High School’s Legal Studies Academy, will be continuing his education at James Madison University where he will pursue a degree in Government and Politics with a focus in International Affairs. Claire is currently enrolled at the University of Virginia where she is majoring in Special Education with a gifted education endorsement.

Spencer and Claire were each awarded a $2,500 scholarship based on their exceptional academics, original essays and extensive involvement in both school and the community.

We are also pleased to announce that Allison Schober was selected as a 2021 Jack E. O’Connor Memorial Scholarship recipient through the Tidewater Chapter of the Virginia Credit Union League.
