ABNB FCU Promotes Four Employees to New Positions

Amelia Lewis has been promoted to Relationship Manager at ABNB’s Sewell’s Point branch. She has served as a Branch Supervisor in our Naval Station Norfolk and JEB Little Creek Base locations since 2017. In Lewis’s new role she directs the operations of the Sewell’s Point branch, fostering relationships between staff and members of the community, as well as ensuring member’s needs are met.

 

Terri Nelson’s new role is Change Manager in our Information Technology Department. Nelson has been a member of our team at ABNB since 2015, most recently serving as a Project Manager, but has worked in the banking industry for 39 years. In her new role Nelson will assist in the creation of the Change Management Program for ABNB. Her responsibilities will include management of the testing process, communication and collaboration with executive management and the entire credit union for the changes implemented.

 

Susan Newman is taking on the role of Investment Representative at ABNB Financial. She has been with ABNB Financial since 2012 in many capacities, most recently serving as Financial Services Specialist. Susan’s desire is to educate members about the products and services available to them in their differing financial situations: from college savings, life insurance, retirement solutions, to wealth accumulation.

 

Chrissy Thomas has been promoted to Enterprise Solutions Manager in our Information Technology Department. She has been working in the credit union industry since 2003, and has been a valuable member of ABNB’s team as a DataSafe Support Specialist since 2015. Her knowledge of our systems and dedication to providing our members with an excellent experience makes her a perfect fit for her new role.
