Re: Governance Committee Solicits Prospective Candidates

Dear Credit Union Official:

The Governance Committee of the Virginia Credit Union League seeks your recommendations for candidates to be nominated for election to the Board of Directors. In 2022, four board seats are open for election. Listed below are the positions and terms:

Eligible candidates for regional director can be named from any credit union in the region so long as the candidate meets the requirements as set forth in the League bylaws. Eligible candidates for At-Large seats can be named from any member credit union so long as the candidate meets the requirements as set forth in the League bylaws.

Please use the enclosed form or a reasonable facsimile to submit the name of a prospective candidate.  You may attach additional biographical information for the committee’s consideration.

Submitting Nominations

Your submission can be made:

1. In writing using the enclosed form. It must be received by the Governance Committee no later than Feb. 25. 
2. Electronic submissions can be sent to Lewis Wood at lwood@vacul.org. You may use the enclosed form or a reasonable facsimile of that document.
