League Monitoring Primaries as Virginia Voters Pick Nominees in Hotly Contested Races

League Notes Item of Interest on NCUA’s June 22 Board Meeting Agenda
Your League is keenly interested in NCUA’s June 22 Board Meeting. On the agenda is a request for comment on the operating fee schedule methodology. “The operating fee schedule methodology impacts all credit unions and can be a sizeable expense,” notes League Chief Advocacy Officer JT Blau. “We’ll be reviewing the opportunity to comment and will cover any proposed changes, urging the agency’s Board to carefully consider how any changes might impact credit unions."

League Kicks Off Series of Legislative Receptions with June 28 Event in Danville
Your League and credit unions will host a series of legislative receptions across the Commonwealth, beginning June 28.
- June 28 - Danville Reception with Congressman Bob Good (R-05).
- August 2 – Shenandoah Valley Legislative Reception with Congressman Cline (R-06) – Hosted by UVA Community Credit Union (2060 Pro Pointe Lane, Harrisonburg, VA)
- August 24 – Richmond Metro Legislative Reception with Congresswoman McClellan (D-04) – Hosted by Credit Union House of Virginia (108 N. 8th Street, Richmond, VA 23875)
- August 30 – Northern Virginia Legislative Reception with Congresswoman Wexton (D-10) – Hosted by Northwest FCU (200 Spring Street, Herndon, VA 20170)
