Credit Union Day at the Virginia General Assembly returns Jan. 19 and we need you in Richmond! We're looking for at least 200 credit union champions to join us as we educate state lawmakers about the "Credit Union Difference" and fight for credit union-backed legislation.

League Announces 2023 Calendar; Registration Open for IGNITE, Other Signature Events

We’ve posted registration for our signature events to the League website, at the request of credit unions that wanted to secure registrations through their 2022 budgets. These signature events include IGNITE 2022 | the League Annual Meeting; our EMERGE events (including the June conference); and our GROWTH Conference.

NCUA Notes End of Emergency Exemption for Certain In-Person Meeting Requirements, But League Pleased to See Some Flexibility Measures Remain

In a Letter to Federal Credit Unions (22-FCU-03), NCUA notes that emergency exemptions from certain in-person meeting requirements for federal credit union boards will expire at year-end 2022. However, of note for federal credit unions, the agency says in its letter that some measures offering flexibility as it relates to meeting and meeting notice requirements will remain, including measures for which your League fought.
