NCUA Leaves NOL Unchanged; Approves 2023-2024 Budget
The National Credit Union Administration left the normal operating level unchanged at 1.33 percent, with the Board also approving a 2023-2024 budget slightly smaller than the one originally proposed by staff and unanimously advancing a proposed rule designed to provide clarity and ease credit unions’ foray into loan participations and fintech collaborations.
VACUPAC Accounting Year Closing Dec. 19
We’re in the home stretch for collecting Virginia Credit Union Political Action Committee (VACUPAC) contributions for 2022. We ask that you submit your contributions by close-of-business on Dec. 19, as a mid-December deadline aids our accounting and PAC management efforts. The NCUA is on track to have its best year to date for credit unions submitting the Credit Union Diversity Self-Assessment, which is the topic of a Jan. 5 webinar. This webinar is a great resource, especially for credit unions looking to take the first steps on their diversity, equity, and inclusion journey.
