Credit Unions Meet with Rep. Jennifer Wexton During 'Hike The Hill' Event

Representatives from a number of Virginia-based credit unions met yesterday with Rep. Jennifer Wexton (D-10) as part of the CUNA Governmental Affairs Conference Hike The Hill event.

The congresswoman is a member of the House Financial Services Committee, the key House committee for credit unions. She also serves on the committee's Consumer Protection and Financial Institutions subcommittee.

Credit union representatives covered a number of issues with Rep. Wexton, including our four key legislative priorities: reducing regulatory burden, modernizing the Federal Credit Union Act, enhancing payment security and preserving credit unions' tax status.
